Margaret and Kelly designed this fall/back to school card. They die cut the apple twice (once in red and once in brown). We just cut off the red stem and placed the whole brown apple behind the red. Too cute!
I enjoy stamping cards, even though I don't always have the time. My style is usually very simple. I'm from the less-is-more camp. Here are just some of the cards I have made.

{blank school}
Okay last inchie card (at least for now). Once I made the pirate card, I had to try it with the a·muse|studio school days set. I definitely like the overall look of the pirate card better, but this was fun.

Now back to your regularly scheduled (non-inchie) cards.

good job!
I wanted to play along with the a·muse|studio consultant challenge, so I used this adorable layout and whipped up this card. It's hard to see the "kissing" of the stamp, but I kissed the apple with lined writing paper stamp, then added "good job" on the lines.

ink: A Muse cranberry, grass, & french roast
other: A Muse twinkle stickers, copic marker
you're the best!
With the medical issues that I had, I was a tad behind on Teacher Appreciation Week. I finally got around to making these for the kids' teachers and putting together little treat bags for them. I wanted something simple because I had to make 7 cards. Yes, seven teachers for two kids in preschool. Well, technically five teachers and two preschool administrators (got to give them thanks too). We just love them so much!
stamp: a muse chalkboard, pencil, "abc...", & "you're the best!"
ink: Memento tuxedo black; VersaFine onyx black; Brilliance rocket red

teacher survival kit
I stumbled upon some Teacher Goodie Bag ideas from Janelle, then I grabbed more ideas from Lexi. I put them together and made my own. I would have loved to have more time to decorate the spiral notebook paper, but we flew back from Nashville the day before the kids were off to preschool and of course I didn't think to do them ahead of time!
You can see close ups of the cards here.
contents of the Survival Kits:
Advil,
Tic Tacs,
hand sanitizer,
microwave popcorn,
Skittles,
Hershey bar, &
a Pepsi.

follow your dreams
Do you ever have a card that looks better in your head than what you actually produced? Or what about the card where you planned to do one thing, but you messed up and instead of starting over, you "work with the mistake" and you should have just bagged it? That was this card. Both times. ugh. Here it is anyways:
stamp: Impress two lines, Rubber Soul school bus
ink: VersaFine onyx black, Impress lemon yellow
other: corner punch, large paperclip, Stickles Xmas red, Sparkles buttercup, Marvy marker taupe
