happy birthday

Carol thought this card would look good in pink and black, so we tried it.  We all liked it better!  What do you think?

thank you

It's been quite awhile since I blogged.  Yikes!  Four kids has kept me busy.  I still haven't found much time to stamp, but I found this card that I never posted.

{flowers}

It's been awhile since I've blogged.  Because, it's been awhile since I've made a card!  My friend, Carol, had us over for a stamp night to "beef up our card stashes".  Typically we have set cards ready to make but this was just come over, be creative, and pump them out.  I was super excited to carve out some craft time.  I left this card blank, but I think it would make a great sympathy card.

stamp: A Muse flower
ink:  some chocolate brown?

thank you

We received so many generous gifts and meals for our family and our new baby girl.  I wanted to make thank you's that were easy to reproduce.  I think I've posted a similar card before (I got the idea for the patterned crib mattress from one Roell girl or the other), but I switched this one up by folding a Memory Box card inside out to have white on the outside and a bunch of pink on the inside.  I learned that inside-out trick from Maureen.

thank you

I completely stole this card from Deanna.  I just love the bright colors and the floral design together.  I couldn't quite pull it off like she did, but it is still a fun card.

thank you

I made this card for a Thank You card pack that I sold awhile back.  The cards had to be simple, easy to reproduce, and be able to lay fairly flat (to fit together in the packaging).  A friend had given me a small sequin flower kit from Impress.  Even though the package was small it came with a ton of flowers and leaves!  It worked great with the little basket from Memory Box.

ink: VersaFine onyx black
other: sequin flowers; Liquid Pearls lemon yellow

i can always count on you...

I made this card for a Thank You card pack that I sold awhile back.  The cards had to be simple, easy to reproduce, and be able to lay fairly flat (to fit together in the packaging).  I decided to remove the embellishments from this card to make it a bit faster.  I also fit it on an A2 card to go with the rest of the cards in the set.

stamp: A Muse wrenches & "I can always count..."
ink: A Muse grass, sky, & ocean; VersaFine onyx black

thank you

I made this card for a Thank You card pack that I sold awhile back.  The cards had to be simple, easy to reproduce, and be able to lay fairly flat (to fit together in the packaging).  This one is unadorned, but I find it quite striking.

thanks

I made this card for a Thank You card pack that I sold awhile back.  The cards had to be simple, easy to reproduce, and be able to lay fairly flat (to fit together in the packaging).  Oranges and yellows aren't my typical colors, but I like them paired with the kraft here.

stamp: Papertrey Ink banner & "thanks"
ink: ColorBox frost white
