thank you

One of my fellow teachers, Linda Barker, makes beautiful and intricate cards.  She teaches the calligraphy classes and the Halloween classes at Impress (and probably a few more I don't know about).  In fact, Linda has such a following of people who take her Halloween class every year that she has to buy new stamps to keep the variety up (because of it, no one has a bigger collection of Halloween stamps)!

Our moms and daughters stamp group hired her out to teach a class for us.  I came across this old picture of a card we made.  That polka dot paper was so amazing.  It was a fuzzy velvet, but thin enough to punch out. The light pink paper were actually card fronts that Dave used to sell at Memory Box, but he no longer carries. You can easily make your own with a large circle punch though.

wicked

This is a cute Halloween card that Linda made. At the time, Wicked the musical was playing here in Seattle. She even had an adorable quote from the book to insert inside.

box card

More of Linda's work. This is a little box card. You could enclose something flat like a picture or gift card and still mail it!

card in a card

Another beautiful Linda creation. This one is a card within a card. Too cute!

purse card

I made this adorable purse card (that actually latches with little magnets) at a card class by my friend, Linda. But there is no way I could remember how to recreate this masterpiece.
