It's been awhile since I've blogged. Because, it's been awhile since I've made a card! My friend, Carol, had us over for a stamp night to "beef up our card stashes". Typically we have set cards ready to make but this was just come over, be creative, and pump them out. I was super excited to carve out some craft time. I left this card blank, but I think it would make a great sympathy card.
stamp: A Muse flower
ink: some chocolate brown?
I enjoy stamping cards, even though I don't always have the time. My style is usually very simple. I'm from the less-is-more camp. Here are just some of the cards I have made.

with deepest sympathy
I made this card for our mothers and daughters stamp group. I completely stole the card from the amazing Debby Hughes. I love all the white space and the paper strips are great for those extra pieces lying around.
stamp: A Muse seashells & "with deepest sympathy"
ink: A Muse french roast; ColorBox old rose
other: square punch (for banner edges), rhinestones
Labels:

with sympathy
This card by Jennifer Rzasa was so clean and simple but the color scheme was different than what I normally turn to, so I wanted to try it out. You know me, I have to add some bling. What do you "always" add to your cards/projects?
stamp: A Muse flower & "with sympathy"
ink: A Muse french roast
other: A Muse twinkle stickers, Copic marker

with deepest sympathy
I learned this new mosaic tile technique (this is not where I learned it, I lost that link, but this is a great step by step) the other day and wanted to give it a try. Once my "stamp" was made it was super easy and quick. I just love the broken tile look! I also added a little recessed window to play along with the a·muse|studio consultant challenge.
If you dare to cut up your extra a·muse|studio rubber, you can make your own mosaic tile stamp.
A quick video from Julie about recessed windows:
